Welcome!

Thank you for taking the time to check out my new blog, Game Dev Noob. This whole experience will be about developing a game from start to finish, the only experience in this field being a couple of programming classes I took in college. The reason I am doing this is so I can learn how the game making process is done as well as get some experience in all areas of the gaming field. I know this won't be easy, in fact I am counting on it being difficult, I want to push myself to become a good programmer and hopefully further myself enough that I can get an actual career going.

I have always been the type of person that loves playing games and experiencing the worlds that other people are able to put together, and occasionally I come across a game that I feel like I could have done so much better with; now is my chance to give it a shot. I will take the time to research and develop my skills to the point that I can make a world that brings others the same enjoyment that I have received through the years, and when the process is done I will be releasing the game onto the Android Marketplace so others can tell me how good or bad I ended up doing in my pursuit of game development knowledge.

 I hope many of you will keep reading as I go through this journey, and hopefully we will all be able to learn more about how tough making games can be.
